"Truly serious chops ... these cats can really play, and fans of modern small group sounds are likely to dig this one from start to finish." -- CADENCE

Chris Byars was the consummate New York music prodigy. From age 7-14 he performed with the Metropolitan and New York City Operas, touring the world with Luciano Pavarotti and dancing with George Ballanchine. His jazz career spans over two decades, and he is one of the most brilliant saxophonists alive today. Small group recording with Ari Roland (Made in New York) was rated the #1 Jazz Recording of 2004 by Ira Gitler in JazzTimes.
